A rough estimate of 600,000 villages in India implies 600,000 cottage industry level software production houses, which could be translated into the creation of 6 million ICT jobs. Help us reach it to the people who need it. We are currently working towards a greater spread of this technology in India and globally. A lot of support is required in terms of awareness generation both financial and manpower. Hindawi has reached its present state after years of concentrated effort. Years of effort will be fruitful only if Hindawi can reach those for whom it has been created – people at the grassroots….students in Indic medium schools. Teaching Hindawi to students in such schools would require old computers, Hindawi manuals, books, CD and video lectures. We would appreciate any form of financial support such as financial grant, fellowship, sponsorship, advertisements, co-branding offers, CD distribution offers, and book publication offers etc. A considerable effort is being spent in producing video lectures and books for these non-English programming systems. Hindawi has the capability to enhance the Joy of programming to Indic programmers. Using their own language in their own script to write full fledged programs is no longer an impossible task for Indic Programmers! Kindly donate as any open source software requires funds to maintain its development and standardisation.
