Join us a developer
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hindawi has the capability to enhance the Joy of programming to non-English programmers. Using their own language in their own script to write full fledged programs is no longer an impossible task for non-English programmers!

Release of Hindawi in all Indic and other languages across the globe requires the support from the development community in general. We need a group of software developers, across regions and linguistic boundaries for developing non-English programming languages in all major human languages.

To be a developer, you should be passionate about open source and need a basic understanding of computers and programming. Write to us, and get ready to be a part of this growing movement!

Pioneering and lead developers of Project Hindawi

-------------------------------------------------------------

The pioneering members of the Hindawi project are Abhishek Choudhary and Sweta Choudhary.

Abhishek Choudhary SrMCSI MBCS(UK) has over a decade’s experience in embedded systems design and compilers/tool-chain. He has received the CSI National Young IT Professional Award 2005, Sarai-CSDS FLOSS Fellowship 2006, and FOSS India Award 2008. His areas of interest are Indic computing, cognitive robotics and artificial life. When not building robots, he indulges in aero-modeling and fathoms spiritual insights.

Dr Sweta Choudhary is a medical doctor by profession, and has been involved with project Hindawi since its inception. She is a co-recipient of the above mentioned awards. Her areas of interest include Indic computing, medical informatics, computational biology and clinical decision support systems.

Both of them have published research papers in their areas of interest and are committed to developing Indic FLOSS, apart from their other professional commitments.
